Not blowing smoke, swear 🤞

Psst! It's the LAST FEW HOURS to get Inbox Hero + Story Hero. Which means I'll be sending a few more emails about them. If you'd rather skip 'em let me know by clicking the link below.

Read the link before you click → ⚠️I DON’T want today’s Inbox/Story Hero emails, thanks!

Know what they're saying about your emails, Reader?

I actually have no idea right now, but I know what they're saying in the future. After you go through Inbox Hero and Story Hero — which go away tonight (Thurs.) at 11:59pm ET — you'll be getting replies like this:

“Thank you for writing exactly what I needed to hear today.”

“Your emails are the only ones I actually open and read.”

“THIS! AMEN!”

“How'd you get in my head? Do you have a camera in my living room, or something?”

“This was incredibly valuable. You rock.”

“Please take my money, already! I don't even need to read the sales page — just send me the buy button.”

“It's really hard to write with only one hand. (I'm holding my credit card in the other one.)”*

I'm not blowing smoke about your emails, Reader. I really think they'll be that good!

Here’s what’s been landing in my inbox lately.

Tom, with his improved newsletter engagement:

And this one came from Madrid, where open rates went from the low 20s to around 40%

Make that triple huzzah, saving democracy and whatnot (it’s working 🌊).

And by the way, even if you’re not selling anything yet, you’ll want to build and KEEP an audience of fans while you figure out what they want you to create for them. Writing emails that get their attention and strike a chord is how you do that.

Once you are selling, you might end up with a problem like Shrimp Club member Mari Loewen’s:

What if you’ve already taken storytelling courses? Will Story Hero, included in Inbox Hero, teach you anything new?

Chris Orzechowski, one of THE top email copywriters and instructors in the space, was the first to buy. He was already a storytelling master, and he said,

"Every time I buy one of Laura's courses, I make more money. The fact is: in marketing, stories turn into sales.”

He was so right! The next year, he made just under a million dollars in revenue, from selling through his emails.

One more. Bill, an Inbox Hero alum, posted this during the live class last week:

So, you in?

This offer is going away in....well, you can see the countdown timer below.

ps - What do you hope they'll say about your emails? Unless it's “Your email just made me blueberry pancakes,” Inbox Hero can help you get there. I don't know how to write an email that does that, much less make pancakes myself.

pps - *The credit card line came from an actual Shrimper, Phil. His replies are consistently hilarious.

Inbox Hero (with Story Hero) goes away at 11:59pm ET tonight (Thurs.)...till who knows when??? Click the pic below to get in on it now.

"Yours are the only emails I actually open and read" - a regular reply in my inbox since 2009...and I'll bet in yours, too, once you subscribe and learn by pure, lazy osmosis to become the most compelling writer around. That said, no promises on improving your moral character.

Last time I sent this email, I used the subject line “Stop c**ck blocking.” Got the following reply: Didn’t bother me, as you can see from the subject line in this one. I’m just giving the Shrimpers what they want. Whenever I deliver an email training, the chat’s full of people looking for more c**cks. Naughty! If you’re counting letters vs asterisks, you know it’s not the word that usually pairs (and rhymes) with “block.” And if your emails get great opens and replies but not great sales,...

Hey - this email is about my limited-time offer for Inbox Hero! (Chance for my feedback, Make Your Point, Email Cash Cow, and other gold nuggets disappear tonight.)Don't want these emails about it but want to stay on my list? (Please stay!) --> No thanks. Please DON'T email me anymore about Inbox Hero. If I were the squealing type, I’d squeal over this: One Shrimp Club member, M, told me at our wrap party last June that she’d sold three spots in a program she hadn’t even opened or talked...
