OMG - my friend Susie sent the best email to her list about my free email class tomorrow.(<– sign up with one click) Here’s the subject line: I wish I could use it on you without plagiarizing it. Boo plagiarism! AI is doing enough of that without me jumping in. I would never pass someone else’s work off as my own. Besides being morally repugnant, it takes away the pleasure of self-expression. And my emails are a channel for that (as well as for making money). But wait, I can share Susie’s email without plagiarizing. I’m not presenting it as my words, but as hers, with full attribution: What’s cut off in the screenshot: “She's teaching us: - How to write emails people actually WANT to read. If you've got (even a tiny) email list, a business, an offer, or simply something you want people to buy, you'll LOVE this. In fact, I’d go so far as to say this skill *isn’t optional* in 2026 and beyond.” She’s so right. (Though really, it was never optional.) And sticking a few tricks up your fall-sweater sleeve this week really can give you “a nice little cash boost before the holidays.” I blush that Susie says I made her emails better, because this one above makes me want to attend my own class — End-Of-Year Bonus Thursday, October 29 at 3pm ET/12pm PT If it makes you want to come, too, grab your seat with one click here. As for intellectual property theft, I feel my hands are clean. Wish I could say the same about them literally. My husband, Steven, just cleaned my laptop at my request (an early birthday* present) and no matter how many times I wipe them on my napkin, they’re already greasing up the trackpad again with butter and english muffin residue. My buttery fingers and I hope to see you tomorrow! xoLaura PS - *Come live so you can hang in the chat with your fellow Shrimpers, ask qs, and take me up on an exclusive bonus only available during the class. We can also pre-celebrate my birthday, which is Friday. PPS - Any questions about writing emails to your list that you hope I’ll answer during the class? Write back and tell me! Or just write back and say hi. I love hearing from you. Psst! Since you're signed up to get my emails on a weekly basis, here's what you missed this week! Love Shrimp Mail? Forward this to a friend so they can get in on the action and sign up below.

"Yours are the only emails I actually open and read" - a regular reply in my inbox since 2009...and I'll bet in yours, too, once you subscribe and learn by pure, lazy osmosis to become the most compelling writer around. That said, no promises on improving your moral character.
First of all, you’re signed up for tomorrow, right? My email class, END-OF-YEAR BONUS, is a version of the talk I’m normally paid big bucks for, inside high-ticket masterminds or on event stages… …Including one session so packed, they had to call the fire marshal. (For real.) There’s a twist, though…one you’re probably expecting if you’ve been doing business on the internet for more than five minutes. And that is, that after showing you how to write the best emails in your subscriber's inbox...
Hi! I’m in Nashville, where I just attended a mastermind my friend Kate Northrup hosted for her top affiliates. We all promoted her yearly program Relaxed Money, something I love writing emails for because they get to be about one of my favorite topics… Poultry farming. Kidding. Money, obviously. I love that stuff! I especially love the money I make from writing about anything I enjoy, have opinions on, obsess over, or even loathe. That’s what my emails let me do. I write whatever the f I...
Hey! Just realized it’s been a year — Around this time last October, I got a subscriber email from my friend (and Shrimp Club alum) Frenchie Ferenczi. Subject line: I’ve gone woo(ish). She wrote about a spiritual teacher who was helping her connect to her intuition and let it guide her business. She had me at woo(ish). Hi, I thought, that’s me. I even coined a term for it years ago: “Woo-Adjacent.” Wrote a manifesto, started a Substack, even looked into trademarking the phrase, then wondered...
